• ABOUT THE FORMULA

  In typical French tradition, the orangery is a “winter garden” where citrus trees grow. At Smith Haut Lafitte, the rich scents of the orangery oak wood barrels meld with citrus trees and were the inspiration for this scent. The wrinkled tree leaves diffuse the perfectly characteristic fragrance of their fruits. Lemon, sweet orange, bitter orange and vivid mandarin. To soften this tangy effervescence of the top notes and body of the fragrance, Francis Kurkdjian chose a java patchouli and touches of moss to provide balance and depth to the scent.
